What Star Valley needs for better healthcare is a better hospital! That place has turned into a dumpster fire in the last few years and especially the last year!!!!
You call for an appt and talk to some hillbillies from down south who don’t even know where Wyoming is. Then good luck with a bill. They send you to collections before they even send you a bill. You can’t even call anybody about your bill. You can only leave a message.
When is something good going to open up. Sterling is just ***** care so that isn’t an alternative. It is worth the drive to Jackson!
Seriously??? I just paid my sky high property taxes with "North Lincoln County Hospital" listed.
So I just paid a jet bill when I can hardly pay my own bills? This makes me sick!
Star Valley needs a new hospital board and new people running it! They've broken everything at the place this year.
You can't reach anybody at the hospital anymore who knows anything. All their calls go to a some call center down south. They don't seem to have a clue and can't answer a question and won't let you talk to someone in Star Valley.
Seems like everybody I talk to has been sent to collections by this place lately. You can no longer talk to someone from the billing department because they have been outsourced too.
After I received my bill last month for physical therapy and was charged $250 for every 15 minutes in the pool I just about lost my mind! Oh, and it took almost 10 months to get that bill!
However, I am now done with this place after I just found out that they bought a jet!!!!!! Seriously??????!!! Is that what my $1,000 an hour in the pool was paying for? Someone even told me they are planning to put in a heart cath lab in Alpine. Looks like the pool rates will be going up to $1000 per 15 minutes.
Until something changes or something new comes into the valley, we'll be going to Jackson or Idaho Falls.
Try working at this place! Unfortunately, no other options but to drive to Jackson. Admin and the board seem to be intentionally driving this place into the ground. Where is the vote of “no confidence”. The employees are getting there real quick!
Administration is off this week in sunny California whale watching on hospital money. Just last week us little people were told we have to JOURNAL if we want a pay raise!
Give me a flipping break. You get to whale watch and enjoy the beach and we get to journal about it. Maybe you should have your “important” meeting here at the hospital and put that money into the pockets of those that make it!
